Abstract :
ZnS/ZnO/ZnS core/shell/shell (CSS) hollow spheres have been successfully developed. The ZnO CSS hollow structures were prepared by immerging ZnO hollow spheres in Na2S aqueous solution. Photoluminescence spectroscopy of the as-synthesized ZnO is found that the UV emission energy of free exciton recombination evidently shifts to the high energy with the longer reaction times. The effect of the ZnS on the optical properties of as-synthesized nanostructure was presented.
