Abstract :
Sensors are tiny devices and senses different types of information. The sensing range of each sensor is limited due to its energy holding capability. Active participation of sensors in data transmission to base station minimizes the overall energy consumption and also reduces the overall systems cost. In this regard division of the total sensor field with uniform grids is the best solution. Leveling is the technique to divide the entire sensor field in to different layers. Cluster head collects the information from various sensors with in the level and uniform grid and also sends the information towards Base station with minimized routing with proper hopping and living techniques. Cluster Head plays an important role in data transmission with the help of sources nodes and router nodes. Here we are proposing two different types of base station position placements. One is base station at the middle of the uniform grid and second one is at rightmost corner. Using these concepts we are reducing the power consumption of the sensor field.
