Abstract :
Peer review problem is widely applied in query answering, making research grants, article judgment and other situations. The existing researches treat this problem as either an information retrieval or an optimization problem. However, various constraints often been ignored through information retrieval methods. And the maximization matching scores is computed subjectively. Consequently, we introduce semantic matching method in the problem solution and define the Interval Fuzzy Ontology (IFO), aimed to computing the similarity of research subjects. This paper illustrates a novel approach based on academic discipline ontology and interval fuzzy sets theory to modeling the topics of papers or proposals and the expertise for automatically allocating experts to carry out the most appropriate tasks according to their specific research field. Meanwhile, several constraints are contained to optimize the assignment.
