Abstract :
A CAE method named Hybrid FE-SEA method used to predict the sound Transmission Loss of panels in mid-frequency was presented. The panel was modeled into FE substructure. The source side was modeled into Diffuse Acoustic Field .The receiving side was modeled into Semi-infinite Field. A simple numerical example was predicted and good agreement was achieved between the prediction and validation experiment results. The transmission loss for a complicated dash-panel was carried out in the model, and the dominant transmission paths were diagnosed according to the transmission loss prediction of the local regions of the structure.
