Abstract :
In ISAR imaging, it is likely to happen that multiple observed targets are so close to each other that there may be two or more targets located in the same radar antenna beam. Since the movements of varied targets may not be the same, using the imaging algorithm for single target will blur the image. Isolating these targets and imaging them separately is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, two methods of ISAR imaging for multiple targets are proposed. The one is applying image segmentation in the image field to extract and isolate the varied targets. The other is based on the Short-time Fourier Transform of Time-Frequency Analysis to separate the lines of the targets in the time-frequency plane. Through the simulation experiment, both of these methods can generate focused and high-resolution ISAR images of multiple targets.
