Abstract
According to the inclusion criteria, medical records on chronic renal failure from the contemporary famous experts of TCM were collected by searching published works and literatures focus on their experience. 82 eligible medical records from 35 famous experts were included and analyzed by computer medical record retrieval analysis software. Descriptive Analysis was used to analyzed the medication rules of these famous expert of TCM, which include varieties of Chinese medicine, four natures and five flavors and Medicine tropisms And the result manifests that the top 20 most commonly prescribed herbs include Poria Cocos, Atractylodes Rhizome, Pinellia Ternata, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Rhizoma Alismatis, Rheum Officinale etc. The top 3 most often used kinds of Flavors are sweet, acrid and bitter flavor. The four natures of the commonly used herbs mostly belong to cold, warm and mild. As to the top 3 most common medicine tropism are the spleen, lung and stomach channel.
