Abstract
The principal objectives in this paper are to achieve output tracking when the given unknown plant and the compensator are connected through a communication network, and to simultaneously address the effects of both network-induced delays and packet dropouts. Their effects are mitigated by using the available information intelligently. Further, we use the multiple models, switching, and tuning methodology to improve the transient performance.
