Abstract :
Stereo vision area is widely studied for long times to make accurate and to work in real-time. DP algorithm is chosen among many stereo matching algorithms to make real-time stereo matching system. And some tricky image processing methods are used to suppress streak noise, flaw of DP. Whole procedure consists of three parts, calibration and rectification, stereo matching, and post processing. Our system is simulated in modelsim program using real scene image, and it is evaluated accuracy of distance from camera. This system shows that stereo matching algorithm could be implemented in real-time system and shows possibility to make better stereo matching system.
