Abstract :
The accurate measurement of Pressure at the desired value is needed in order to obtain good quality of product at maximum efficiency of a process plant or equipment and also to run the plant with all the safety aspect. In the present paper, a low cost reluctive pickup type transmitter has been described where the displacement of the ferromagnetic core attached with the tip of the bourdon tube is found to be directly proportional to the applied pressure. It is also found that the DC current output of the transmitter is directly proportional to the applied pressure.
