Abstract
This paper proposes an efficient collision detection method in Chipless RFID system. In the proposed method the chipless tags are interrogated by a frequency sweep signal whose frequency varies linearly with time. The tag collision is identified by analysing the down converted Intermediate Frequency (IF) signal. The number of collided tags is also identified through this method. The simulation result confirms the potentiality of the method for collision detection as well as false detection in Frequency-domain Chipless RFID system.
