Abstract
We realize phase-sensitive regeneration in a highly non-linear fiber for BPSK signals by employing phase-locking which facilitates a semiconductor optical amplifier. The regeneration capability is validated in system experiments with 43-Gb/s NRZ-differential BPSK.
