Abstract :
Highly bendable large-mode-area all-solid photonic bandgap fibers for high-power fiber lasers are reported. A 712-μm2 effective area, effectively single-mode operation, and bending loss of less than 0.1 dB/m at a 10-cm bending radius are achieved.
