Abstract
A collection of slides from the authors´ conference presentation was given. The authors discusses the components of coherent transmission system i.e multilevel modulation, polarization division multiplexing/demultiplexing, coherent detection, digital signal processing, and link design. the presentation also gives examples of their recent long-haul experiments.
