Abstract
This research attempts to deal with the coupling-influence among different powertrain parameters in the parameter matching process of Plug-in Series Hybrid Electric Bus(PSHEB), the research target is a PSHEB (with no gearbox) which is currently under development. Based on practical design procedure, the author come up with a new method to parameterize the PSHEB powertrain more effectively, in which the """"motor/final drive"""" combination concept has been put forward after analyzing the """"motor/final drive"""" reel-end characteristic (Torque/Power-Speed) and synthesizing the influence on the powertrain performance which comes with the parameters changing of """"motor/final drive"""" system. This study contributes to finding more effective parametric design methods by bringing forward a set of demands for """"motor/final drive"""". In the end, after building a corresponding Matlab/Simulink model and running it under China Bus Transient Drive Cycle (CBTDC), favorable result was obtained, which proves the effectiveness of this research.
