Abstract :
Due to the openness and dynamic characteristics of network environment, the failure of component service in composite web service(CWS) is inevitable. So, composite web service need transaction to ensure the composition execute correctly and reliably. However, the introduction of transaction affects QoS analysis of composite web service. Therefore, how to analyze the QoS based on transaction becomes very meaningful. This paper addresses time performance analysis based on transaction. Firstly, transaction properties (compensatable, pivot and retriable) of a single service and composite web service are introduced. Then performance analysis of basic workflows is proposed; Finally, a general algorithm that can compute the execute time of a complex composite web service is given and an example is used to illustrate the process of the time performance.
