Abstract :
Fast response and rapid decision making have strategic importance in the current business environment. Data warehouse provides the necessary information that enable managers to make these decisions. Data warehouse projects are hampered due to ineffective parallel development methodology. To cope with the problem of parallelism we have proposed a new approach incorporating aspect oriented methodology in data warehousing. The aim of our research is to improve the delivery of a data warehouse project by striking a balance between modularity and degree of parallelism. Integration of modules is difficult and time consuming with classical data warehousing approach on the other hand aspect oriented approach simplifies and reduces the integration effort required to bring together individual modules.
