Abstract :
The separation of the maternal and fetal Electrocardiograms (ECGs) from skin electrodes located on the mother´s body can be considered as a blind source separation (BSS) problem. In this paper, we propose to apply singular value decomposition (SVD) to separate the maternal and fetal ECG signals.
