Abstract :
With the penetration of wind generation increasing in China, the potential for large scale, highly concentrated and highly risky wind generation ramping will grow and it is urgent to do more research on ramping event. This paper interviews the research progress and exiting problem on ramping event and discusses the definition and prediction method of ramping event. Meanwhile a framework of finite control on wind power ramping is proposed. In this framework, ramping scenes and unit classification are presented to fulfill the finite control scheme. In order to reduce the complexity of finite control, hierarchical control and stage control are introduced.
