Abstract :
A large number of scientific researches have been done to find effective methods to copy with the deposit scale. As the result of the deposit scale, the sections of stratum channels and the pipelines become narrower and narrower, the capacity of equipment is lower, the cost of energy is increased, and pipelines sometimes are cracked due to the rise of pressure. The deposit scale can not only cause the reduction of output but also increase the initial cost. This paper researches the mechanism and prediction technology of deposit scale in the production system of the oilfield. In this paper, the Oddo-Tomson saturation index is selected as the model of deposit scale prediction. The Oddo-Tomson saturation index is combined to the calculating model of temperature and pressure of the system of production. By this way, it can make the calculated results of model much close to the reality.
