Abstract :
In this work an analysis and simulation of three types of channel estimators are showed: pilot symbols, blind estimation and semi-blind estimation. The channel estimation is required in wireless communication systems due that the communications channel have a time-varying behavior. These estimators are evaluated using the Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard, and this evaluation is done using a multi-tap wideband channel. The results obtained are analyzed by means of level crossing rate (LCR) and average fading duration (AFD).
