Abstract :
With constructing a "hierarchy and domain" model, the optical network is divided into static and dynamic resources. Its resources are designed qualitatively and quantitatively description by using the XML language to design service contracts. It is realized that the optical network\´s ability of supporting grid services can be reflected comprehensively and dynamically which ensures the accuracy and instantaneity of the optical network resources management and provides references to schedule the resources reasonably.
