Abstract :
In this letter, a broadband and compact phase shifter using omega particles is designed. Bandwidth of the 90 ° and 45 ° versions of the designed phase shifter are around 55% with the accuracy of 3 ° and 60% with the accuracy of 2.5 °, respectively. The proposed phase shifter has compact size compared with previously published SIW based phase shifter designs. A prototype of the proposed 90 ° phase shifter is fabricated and comparison of the measured and simulated results is provided.
