Abstract :
This paper presents a regulation characteristics of proposed fast response digitally peak current controlled dc-dc converter. In the proposed method, the peak current can be detected in real time by using an inexpensive voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and a programmable delay circuit. In a simulation and an analysis results, it is revealed that a proposed circuit has a sufficient resolution to control a dc-dc converter. In addition, it is clarified a relation between the oscillation frequency of VCO and a required resolution of the delay circuit.
