Abstract :
This paper proposes position sensorless control method for IPMSM, which is applied to both low speeds and high speeds. The proposed method is based on the extended EMF. At low speeds, the extended EMF is boosted by voltage injection synchronized with PWM carrier. The same estimation algorithm is applied for low speeds and high speeds.
