Abstract :
A novel Ultra-wideband (UWB) Communication channel estimation method based on random coding convert compressed sensing (CS) is proposed in this paper. By utilizing pulse modulation and UWB channel response as parts of CS measurement matrix, channel estimation is realized with Bernoulli random coding convert CS theory. Simulation results with channel model of IEEE 802.15.3a show that the proposed method is effective for UWB channel estimation, and compared with other estimation system it is simpler and easier to realize. In addition, it can greatly decrease the sampling rate of received signal.
