Abstract :
Driven by worldwide demand for renewable sources, there is a strong trend in photovoltaic scenario to use transformerless inverter topologies to obtain higher efficiencies and lower ground leakage current. This paper presents a new topology based on H-bridge with ac decoupling scheme consisting of diode bridge and a switch with clamping to the DC midpoint. The PV panel is modelled to obtain a voltage of 350V. Also the topology is simulated and compared with two other existing topologies. High efficiency and low leakage current are observed.
