  • Abstract
    The D-Qaxis modelling of the shaded-pole induction motor employing the state vector analysis is approached to determinethe periodicity and chaotic phenomenon under different system parameters are observed. Accordingly, a chaotic-speed control of a fan can be achieved by appropriately varying the motors´ internal parameters or the operation condition. Computer simulations have been developed to confirm the proposed non-linear model of the single-phase induction motor.
