Abstract :
Beta reputation system trust for wireless sensor networks is simply based on the Beta distribution mathematical expectation, so that its response of the on-off attack has delays. Hence, the attacks of the malicious nodes on the system can not be found because of the delay. The penalty function based on redemption mechanism for trust value of WSN is proposed in this paper. The simulations results of MATLAB show that the redemption penalty mechanism not only improves resistance of the trust system against On-off attacks but also improves the sensitivity of the system against malicious attacks.
