Abstract
Ontology is the representation of terms and their interrelationships. It facilitates machine interpretability of web greater than that supported by XML, RDF and RDF schema. Extracting knowledge from image database is challenging and requires a deep understanding of domain-specific knowledge especially in geospatial domain. At this context we propose a new approach allowing semantic satellite image retrieval, describing the semantic image content and managing uncertain information using ontology model and a multi agent technique to compare the old and recent data in satellite image.
