            Abstract : 
This paper is concerned with the modeling and dynamic simulation of buck converter fed Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (PMBLDC) Motor Drives using Matlab/Simulink. Mathematical model of whole system which incorporates Buck Converter fed from constant dc link voltage, PMBLDC Motor, Inverter, Hysteresis current controller and PI Controller is used for controlling the speed/torque of the proposed model of PMBLDCM drives. Through extensive simulations it is observed that the Steady and Transient-states characteristics of speed and torque as well as voltages and currents of pwm inverter components can be effectively examined and evaluated.
