Workshops and short courses

Workshops and short courses provide attendees of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) International Microwave Symposium (IMS), Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) Symposium, and Automatic RF Techniques Group (ARFTG) Conference, and the Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON) the opportunity to gain introductory to expert-level knowledge in focused areas of interest. The workshop program consists of half-day and full-day sessions that draw speakers who are recognized experts in their respective fields. Depending on the duration, sessions typically host between four and eight speakers. Each speaker presents on a topic related to the central theme of the workshop, and the slate of speakers often provides contrasting perspectives.
