Abstract :
Multiple choice assessments are widely used in modern higher education. A lot of different best practices that describe how to build a good assessment are known, but there is no way to evaluate how good the assessment is, or how difficult is it, or how many stages of competencies it can unveil. The method to evaluate the difficulty and the differentiate ability of a multiple choice assessment is described in this article.
