Abstract :
Today, when a multimedia application which are becoming popular to deliver over wireless networks. There is a needed to study in multicast traffic over IEEE 802.11n on the wireless local area network (WLAN) in order to support QoS for network design. Recently, characteristic of HTTP, FTP, SMTP, VoIP and other Internet application are widely studied in term of bandwidth utilization. However, a characteristic of multicast traffic WLAN is rarely studied in term of packet size and interval time distribution. Therefore, in this paper present the multicast traffic analysis on WLAN in term of such two parameters based on several networks. This experiment results useful for multicast traffic simulation.
