Abstract :
According to the recent replacement of mechanical and electronic devices being used in the train signal control communication of railway with ICT(Information and Communication Technology) based electronic devices which can be controlled remotely through communication networks and programmable, the safety in the process of communication directly connected with large scale casualties or economic loss in the open railway communication networks is becoming the indispensable core matter. To guarantee the strict communication safety issue against the threat to safety such as the intentional hindrance, etc. due to the unauthorized connection during the use of open transmission line in the form of utilizing wireless LAN in the wireless communication section of ICT-based train control system, this paper proposed a method for train signal control communication for the safe communication, which adds various security functions by utilizing unused fields, although the form of transmission frame of WPA2(Wi-Fi Protected Access2) which is the security communication protocol at MAC(Media Access Control) layers of present wireless LAN is used as it is.
