Abstract :
The standardization of IEEE 802.15.4m has been proceeded to allow 802.15.4 wireless networks to take advantage of the TV white space spectrum(TVWS) for use in large scale device command and control applications. We proposed the very simple structure based on OFDM for IEEE 802.15.4m PHY in July 2012. In this paper, the link budget of the TVWS-OFDM PHY proposed as a PHY of TVWS WPAN in IEEE802.15.4m is estimated considering the power limit of TVBD(TVWS band device) and the simulation results show that the our proposed TVWS-OFDM PHY can satisfy the technical requirements of IEEE802.15.4m.
