Abstract :
In wireless network, the speech quality is increased with reducing the effects of interference by the help of multiantenna systems. This paper presents an analysis on the speech quality in MIMO orthogonal frequency division multiplexing networks. MIMO network system is implemented using universal software radio peripheral (USRP) kits and voice data is transmitted and received by MIMO antennas in laboratory environment. System performance is analyzed by measuring signal to noise ratio and bit error rate of MIMO Network. In the analysis part of the study, E-model, which is a signal based speech quality estimating model, is used. The parameters obtained from communication block are applied to E-model to determine voice quality and the factors affecting transmitted voice data quality are analyzed.
