Abstract :
This paper is the description of an engineering school project. An electronic music instrument has been designed, permitting a user to define a melodic sequence on a panel made of LEDs and buttons. The defined melody is then played and repeated by a separated module, receiving the sequence through a wireless communication. Thus, the panel is made fully mobile and sounds are heard instantaneously, played by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) TMS320C6416 that uses the Texas Instrument CODEC (Coder/DECoder) TI TLV320AIC23B.
