Abstract :
We demonstrate a thermally tuned SGDBR laser with high thermal tuning efficiency; 300kHz spectral linewidth, +16dBm fiber-coupled output power, 40dB SMSR, and millisecond timescale tuning are achieved over a 40nm wavelength range across the C-band.
