Abstract :
We report a simple 1:25Gb/s short-reach WDM-PON exploiting self-seeded transmitters at OLT and wavelength-reuse at ONUs to achieve the best combination of cost and capacity. Two remodulation schemes, NRZ/NRZ and IRZ/RZ are compared.
