Abstract :
This Paper mainly proposes control strategy for maximum peak power tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic system which is connected to grid with active load. Current source based (CSI) converter is used in this paper which overcomes certain disadvantages over voltage source based converters. A single stage, poly phase centralized power inverter system is used for analysis. The results are drawn by comparing the output power with two different MPPT techniques; Perturb &Observe and Incremental conductance method respectively. The simulation studies are carried out with the help of MATLAB software.
