  • Abstract
In this paper, an advanced mppt tracking is utilized to extract the maximum power from solar PV array. The tracked maximum voltage is fed to the simple boost converter to increment the voltage. Following the tracking process, the boosted DC voltage is implied for charging portable UPS. In the proposed PV system, the incremental conductance MPPT algorithm is utilized for tracking the maximum power, for UPS applications.
