Abstract :
Nowadays solar PV power systems draw more focus among all other types of renewable energy sources for the alternative way to generation of power by using conventional energy sources. Basically power which is coming from solar is of variable DC nature, it require converter to get AC. The Multilevel Inverters are used to convert DC to AC, as it provides high power quality with low output harmonics and lower commutation losses. For solar PV system the cascaded H-bridge MLI is popularly used. In this paper it is proposed the cascaded H-bridge MLI with sinusoidal PWM technique to control the switches.
