Abstract
This paper addresses the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues of high power dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter, meant for aerospace applications, and discusses measures to improve its EMC capability. The paper comments on standard design practices and also offers design suggestions to suppress the EMI noise in order to facilitate an EMC compliant DAB converter design. A comprehensive set of experimental results are provided to support the discussions.
