Abstract :
Transformer oil or insulating oil is usually a highly-refined mineral oil that is stable at high temperatures and has excellent electrical insulating properties. Its functions are to insulate, suppress corona and arcing, and to serve as a coolant. Transformer Oil Testing is a method, which should be a part of any condition-based defensive preservation facilities. This is the most important early protective system can allow maintenance arrangement to identify repairing priorities, program schedules, arrange of outside service, and order necessary parts and materials. In this paper we focussing on the transformer oil, their analysis by using MATLAB ( Image Processing). Also study the ideal properties of transformer oil.
