Abstract :
A Rectenna is a rectifying antenna which is essential for Microwave Wireless Power Transmission. It converts the Radio Frequency wave into DC Power. In this paper, a novel 2.45GHz patch antenna and a Rectifier with impedance matching circuit is designed using MATLAB and Advanced Design System software. Results show that the Antenna produces a gain of 7.68dB and the Rectenna produces a power of 0.075Watts with 27mA of current for a load of 100 Ohms.
