            Abstract : 
Innovation will drive improvements in healthcare delivery and reach across the world. Progressively healthcare innovations will happen at the intersection of clinical research, semiconductor and electronic development, physics, biology, chemistry and informatics among others. This talk will review healthcare trends and challenges and will point to the expected and potential contributions that semiconductor technology can offer to improving healthcare outcomes and reducing cost in healthcare performance. Key semiconductor contributions in diagnostic imaging, point of care and distributed healthcare paradigms will be presented as examples.
