Abstract :
The 60 GHz ultra-high-speed Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) has received considerable attention in recent years. Information security, which ensures secure communication within the network, is of particular importance. In this paper, we propose an efficient lightweight key management scheme for 60 GHz WPAN, which deploys secure encryption algorithms and one-way hash function to achieve efficient key exchange and updating managements. Detailed security analysis has shown its security provisions. In addition, performance evaluation is also provided to demonstrate its efficiency in terms of session key distribution and group key updating.
