Abstract :
The effect of transverse-stress applied on dual-mode optical-fiber placed in Sagnac loop is analysed theoretically and experimentally characterized. The dual-mode interference in a Sagnac-loop platform exhibits excellent potential towards configuring transverse-stress measuring all-fiber device.
