Abstract :
A textile Yagi-Uda antenna operating in the 57-64 GHz band is proposed for on-body communications. The antenna characteristics are studied numerically and experimentally in free space and on a skin-equivalent phantom in terms of reflection coefficient, radiation pattern, and efficiency.
