Abstract :
UWB antennas are designed for wireless communications in 3D and planar shapes with omnidirectional radiation patterns. For detections unidirectional radiation are desired. Dielectric resonator antennas for UWB applications are compact in size and provide high radiation efficiency. Compactness helps reducing the cross-polarization and stabilizes the phase center that helps reducing the pulse deformation.
